Shooting an Elephant

Definition of enemy is a person in opposition or a hostile force.
Enemies in this story are as follows:
a) Burmese were the enemies of the Britishers because they were ruling against the desire of Burmese. The Britishers were ruling Burma at that time and the Burmese considered them as their enemies because while ruling them the Britishers unleashed atrocities aginst Burmese. So, there was great hatred against them.
b) As the Britishers were ruling Burma therefore, they considered Burmese as their enemies, as the Burmese used to defy their rules.
Both of these parties took each other as their enemies but the Burmese were fighting for their freedom,therefore the enimity was justify . On the other hand the Britishers were trying to supress Burmese in order to rule over them. They were not justified in doing so because sovereignity is the right of all nations.

An Exciting Experience of Rafting

It was the best day of  summer when my father decided to take us for rafting. We were all very excited and started to plan our trip. We collected suitable equipments and gear for the excretion.

     We reached the river side and were thrilled to see a ferocious river and had a very scary feeling initially. We were made to explain by the professionals about precautionary measures which had to be followed during the exercise and made us comfortable that we should remain very calm during the rafting and also made us clear about the life jackets and other gears. Finally, we went into the river and I couldn’t believe myself that I was actually having a turbulent ride on the raft. Overall it was a thrilling experience.
   In the end we came out safe and sound from the river. It was a very exciting experience of my life as I got to see the nature very closely.

Preparations of Sehri By a Mom

The most difficult part of being a mom is to think and plan of the menu at home . This phenomena gets even more complexed during ramadan . As the whole sleep cycle , diet cycle and other chorse of home gets reversed , therefore the job becomes more challenging for a mom .
As a smart cookie I make preparations for sehri at night . I ask members of the house about their priorities  of diet . After various considerations I make preparations accordingly . I make sure that most of the work is done before I got to sleep because that makes my job more easier at sehri .
Early morning what I have to do is to go through and prepare already half cooked dishes like frying kababs , eggs , making parathas and cereals . I make sure that this diet is not too hard on the digestive system . Above all I dont forget to keep yogurt as an important ingredient of sehri .=)

Self-Introduction

I am Mehak Hasan and I have done my intermediate in commerce form D.H.A college. Currently i am a student of Szabist and doing my BS in Media Sciences.Though i don't have any background knowledge of the subjects which i have chosen to study but i am confident that through my hardwork and guidance from my teachers and friends , I shall be able to acquire more knowledge.
I take my life in stride.I like hanging out with my friends, listening to music and travelling.I like watching comedy movies as they give me an opportunity to enjoy myself.I don't like hypocrite people and always try to remain away from people who do backbitting, lie and are not upright in their approach.
I have a very simple approach in dealing with my life and day to day affairs. I strongly believe in living it up as you will never get another life.
